 Moving up to a much larger venue from many of our previous wedding and party facilities, West Palm Beach is a very competitive and busy city with numerous places to have events. The Palm Beach County Convention Center is one of the biggest event venues in the area. It was built in the downtown area back in the 2000s and hosts many large functions, corporate events, conventions, sporting events, shows and various business and fundraising expos. It also has the ability to host weddings, large corporate events and school dances & proms. Their second-floor banquet room is exquisite and is a very big event hall with lots of space for corporate events, large weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, and many other special events. The room itself is carpeted but the Palm Beach County Convention Center has dancefloors available, a high-tech lighting system that's dimmable and has a house sound system and plenty of space for your DJ, photo booth, uplighting, caterer, buffet and lots of tables for guests. Depending on the layout of your event, you could easily have 250-500 people in this room. 


Some additional things that make it very convenient for the Palm Beach County Convention Center are a massive loading dock for your vendors, access to a large elevator and a small elevator, custom stages can be setup for your music entertainment, restrooms located conveniently near the room, a sound person to help with a projector and screen and lots of cords and cables if you need this for your event. Power is especially easy too with lots of places to plug into.


We have provided DJ services for many events here in West Palm Beach and have had the pleasure of working at this facility. There's ample parking available for your guests. Now some other things to keep in mind at this venue, they are fairly strict on your vendors accessing the building. They must be licensed, insured and check in at the loading dock or they won't be able to bring anything in. So, if you're hiring a planner make sure to have a walk through and go over all the procedures for vendors coming in and out of the building. You'll be better organized with everything. Whether it's a school dance, prom, wedding, corporate function or anything else there's lots of space. They have a ground floor that's the main convention center for over a thousand people and there's the upstairs room for more elegant affairs. Best of luck on finding the perfect venue!
