Looking for a really cool setting to have your event? This is a Polynesian pacific themed restaurant and catering venue with a show each night for guests. As you drive into the main drive way there's a cool little drop off covered area for your guests. Great for any weather conditions since this is south Florida. As you walk into the main door there's lots of wood and classic islandy style fixtures that create that polynesian theme. The main room features a full stage with instruments and a dance floor roped off especially for the performances. As you continue walking Mai Kai has a cool paradise in the very back of the restaurant with a bridge going over a waterfall. We had a really great weekend over at a new venue we had the pleasure of working at the Southern Palm Bed & Breakfast in Loxahatchee Florida. What a cool little paradise out in the countryside. As you drive into the main drive area there are gorgeous open fields on either side with lots of parking for your guests. The drive area curves off into 2 different places. People can stay at Southern Palm Bed & Breakfast with their campers and RVs with access to restrooms and other amenities. They have water and electric hook ups and a really cool lounge area on a man made island in the middle of a pond. It's a neat oasis with lots of fish and wildlife since its in the country. The other side of the drive area takes you over to the brick pavers patio area with a side walk going around to where you can have your event. The Jupiter Beach Resort is a great venue for brides and grooms, corporate events, weddings, sweet 16s and any other special events. We especially enjoy the Marlin room which is connected to the patio area overlooking the pool. The Jupiter Beach Resort is also right on the beach which is ideal for beach ceremonies, ocean breeze for having a cocktail hour either right next to the beach on the terrace or overlooking the pool and a great area for dinner and dancing. Our DJ Company has performed in both the smaller Marlin Room and the larger Sailfish Ballroom which is nice for a larger guest count. Uplighting is a great feature we can offer in both the Sailfish room and the Marlin room of the Jupiter Beach Resort. We can also setup uplights on the patio area where dinner can be setup.                     So we finally got a chance to post another blog to our South Florida gig blog. We hope that your spring has been a good one. The spring time brings many Wedding receptions, Mitzvahs, and parties outside. Florida is always nice because for most of the year you can have an event and get a DJ year round.                   We recently had a chance to perform at Boca Raton Country Club in Boca Raton Florida. The function was a private school prom with about 75 in attendance. This is a great venue for numerous different types of events. The room we were in supports up to 100 people with a nice size dance floor in the center and the tables can be set around the room. The function room can be set for Weddings, sweet 16s, corporate functions and sweet 16s. The room has a lot of great ways to set it up and you can even have uplights surrounding the room to illuminate the walls.
