Fern Forest Nature Center Coconut Creek Ft Lauderdale Florida Wedding Venue

 Taking a turn more to the south of the Florida area we have the coolest natural wedding venue around. Welcome to the Fern Forest Nature Center of Coconut Creek. A suburb of Fort Lauderdale Florida and Broward County, it's tucked away in a wilderness just off Powerline Road in its little paradise but close enough to the city for your vendors and guests to find easily. Fern Forest has a nature trail, a decent amount of parking, a 2-story building with the banquet room upstairs and kitchen and the downstairs is the main office. They also have an area with seating for a ceremony overlooking the forest. It's a cute layout and there's a lot to do there. Vendors will also appreciate the small side road that can easily take you around to the loading dock. There's an elevator right next to the loading dock that takes you to the 2nd floor. 


The banquet room on the second floor can hold a comfortable 60-75 guests with round tables and the dance floor. Your photographer will love the photo opportunities with nature in the background, trees, staircases and a number of places to take pictures. There of course is a limited amount of space on the inside with a buffet, cake table and gift table. So, you'll have to check out the layout for yourself. A nice balcony goes all the way around the building on both levels and the restrooms are conveniently located right outside the main doors. 


Some sidenotes of this venue so you know what to expect. Your vendors must be on their approved list to be about to perform there. They also must have insurance for the facility and it's best to pick a vendor who has seen the venue or performed there before so they don't have trouble setting up. If you're having a large guest count, then you may have to take a look at the venue to see if it can hold the amount of people you're inviting. We have provided uplights for the room and they looked great! Your guests will absolutely love the nature trail, and this is one of the highlights of this venue. The Addison Boca Raton Florida Weddings or Parties

            A s a mobile DJ entertainer we've had the pleasure of working at numerous venues. A great place we recently worked at is The Addison in Boca Raton Florida. I will give you a nice summary of the facility and what you can expect when you have your event there.              It's a nice facility for parties, weddings, even corporate affairs. It's right on the corner of Camino Gardens Blvd and Dixie Highway on the southeast side of Boca. As you turn into the parking lot of the Addison on the left side is numerous parking spots for your guests. So you will always be assured that there's a place to park. The Sundy House Delray Beach Wedding Venue Restaurant Catering Receptions

                                       Finally another edition of our blog from a new place that we had a chance to work at. I personally have not had the pleasure of performing at the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida until this past weekend. My other DJs performed their in years past and enjoyed the great scenery. The Sundy house has some history based upon the venue and this is a great little getaway for those who want a small south Florida paradise with a taste of rivers, trees and cute gazebos.                                        I was told that originally the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida was the home of the first Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida. This home was remodeled more recently and turned into a hotel cottage type of venue with a restaurant, bar and lounge in the separate buildings and lush green natural areas throughout the facility.
