 We travel to our latest destination back up to some old stomping grounds in Central Florida. A classic oldschool area that definitely gives you an old feel in a country setting but still close to the city. Welcome to Rockledge Country Club which has a history from the early days but also has a beautiful layout for your next wedding, party or special event. They have a gorgeous ballroom and a fantastic view of the golf course and balcony. As you make your way into Rockledge you can pull right up to a circle drive area for a nice covered doorway with a staircase and a ramp for wheelchairs or vendors to bring in their equipment.  We have a new venue that we had the pleasure of visiting. This venue doubles as a place for kids and families and hosts weddings, parties, baby showers and get togethers. It's a very unique place with many different activities, farm animals, food, and fun. The Hobe Sound Farmers Market open most days till 2pm and 5pm on certain days, is really neat. There's a nice full size parking lot right up front as your first drive in and there's ample parking. The farmers market is located directly off I-95 and Bridge Road to the west. So its super convenient to get places and its within 5 minutes of hotels.  Vero Beach is known for having a wide variety of rustic style venues, barn & farm style wedding facilities. There are so many different kinds of rustic places to have your reception from being in an actual field with cows and horses to a barn setting with super upscale amentities. There are some with no air conditioning or walls and some that are like ballroom or country clubs with air, and gorgeous layouts. Well this next venue is everything put together in one. Welcome to The Rustica in Vero Beach Florida. This venue has it all and it takes the elegant feel and puts it together with a rustic barn, farm look but very classy.  We make our way more down to South Florida in a very classy, elegant and simple country club in the Plantation Florida area, which is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Welcome to Jacaranda Country Club which has nice history and has been established for many years in south Florida. It's situated back in a more secluded area of the city and has a long scenic road that takes you back to the main clubhouse. It has a nice drive up covered driveway that is easy to drop off guests, senior citizens and kids. There's 2 entrances that are perfect for brides & grooms togo right to their getting ready room and vendors to go into the ballroom. Guests can also go up a wheelchair ramp and go to the main entrance with a nice lounge area. They have a restaurant area that can double as a cocktail area to the right side and then theres a nice long hallway area with a room for ceremonies, which can be set aside with drape.  We have a new venue to check out and it's a very unique place to enjoy. In Martin County Florida the outskirts of Stuart is the town of Palm City. It's a very relaxing and cute area for adults, kids and senior citizens. To the west of the city is a lot of ranch and farm areas with a lot of horse and equestrian property. Rustic style weddings are one of the most popular style of wedding and it's great because there's a lot of room for your guests and everything can be setup in different areas of the venue. Welcome to Seven Oaks Ranch, a beautiful petting farm and wedding venue with many acres and a gorgeous layout. As you make your way down the drive way area of Seven Oaks you'll pass a horse barn and an amazing Lake with a dock and water fountain.  The city of Stuart Florida is known for it's beautiful ocean and intracoastal views, fishing, snorkeling, diving and beaches. It's surrounded by so many gorgeous beach locations, golf spots and of course downtown areas. Right on the intracoastal waterway just over the bridge from Palm City and 5 minutes from downtown Stuart is a very classic and cute clubhouse that's stood the test of time. Established in the 70s and 80s, Monterey Yacht Club is a condo complex with a fantastic spot picked out right on the water. Monterey Yacht club boasts easy access with a perfect parking lot that is right next to the clubhouse with lots of parking. As you make your way into the building theres a walkway that goes up to the door with a kitchen access door on one side and a main door for the other. The kitchen access is great for your caterers.  We are heading a little more north than our usual blogs to a neat building in the very heart of Vero Beach Florida around the central FL area. Just downtown in the historic district of Vero is the Elks Lodge number 1774 that has a bar & restaurant area and a large banquet hall. It's a very cool and retro style place but boasts lots of space, a nice size bar and a stage too. Elks Lodge Vero Beach has a nice foyer as you walk into the building that leads in 2 directions, one is the lounge bar area and the other is the banquet room. There's plenty of doors to bring in party supplies and your vendors can use. You can decorate the room with streamers for a wedding and it has a disco mirror ball and dancefloor and stage lighting.  The room itself can hold easily 100-150 guests and plenty of room for tables, a buffet table, cake table, a sweetheart table or head table and your DJ or entertainment can setup on the stage.  We've stumbled upon a hidden gem in the Stuart Florida area. It's so hard to find affordable venues that are nice, clean, roomy and easy to access. On the border or Hobe Sound and Stuart Florida in Martin county is the Port Salerno Civic Center. Right by lots of boating and the main waterway with several seafood restaurants and little shops, its an amazing place to have your next Birthday, company party, wedding reception or get together. Right off Dixie highway this building has a good size parking lot directly next to it for easy parking. It has easy access for wheelchairs and offloading equipment, party props, food, etc. Port Salerno Civic Center is a nice open room which can be setup how you want. First thing you'll see when you arrive is a walkway up to a nice wrap around porch that goes around bot sides of the building.  Situated in Palm City in a gorgeous boating area with lots of trees and beautiful homes is a great clubhouse that offers many amenities. Palm Cove Golf Club is a really great building that offers 2 floors with the second floor being a nice open long 2 room event hall. This is a gated community so keep in mind you'll have to have guests names or you can take a party bus to the clubhouse. You'll pull in and immediately be able to pull up under the overhang drive area, great for unloading event items, party favors, vendor equipment, caterers, etc. There's a foyer area with elevators to the left, great for a photo booth or just a welcome area. There's also a really cool staircase, so you have 2 options to go upstairs. As you make your way up to the second floor there's another really nice greeting area where a buffet could be setup or photo booth. There's also restrooms opposit the elevator and stairs.  Along the intracoastal waterway in Martin County and almost into St Lucie is a hidden gem that is part of the Jensen Beach downtown area. With restaurants lining the area including Mulligans and Thirsty Turtle, among many other mom and pop bars & grills is a really cool building thats both modern in style and historic at the same time. Welcome to Jensen Beach Community Center. This is a 2 story building with a really small museum on the ground floor highlighting history of Martin county and surrounding areas. On the second floor is a nice open banquet hall with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main road and large vaulted ceilings. The floor is carpeted but it's thin carpet and a dance floor could most certainly be brought in. The room itself is long and rectangular with the best layout having the dance area towards the back of the room which also has a projector and screen available for slideshows.  We have a very nice and secluded venue for our next blog. In the western part of Jupiter Florida, there are many farms and rustic style venues but one definitely stands out as a beautiful and unique place to have a wedding. Welcome to Whitetrail Farms in Jupiter Florida, a rustic, green venue with lush fields and greenery. It has a main entrance with ample parking and you can use a valet or not have one. There's a gorgeous sidewalk leading to the main reception hall. Facing the main door to the barn is a great place for a ceremony and they also have another ceremony location next to it.  Off to the side of the barn is a covered area great for a cocktail and mingling hour. You can place your guest book, a photo booth and there's a large bar area.  This venue is not exactly a public event location but we really enjoyed our time here. The Duckwood homeowners association also known as Duckwood Clubhouse is a beautiful, cute and homie layout that's great for smaller family & friends weddings, parties and events. The point of the blog is for those who don't want to book a large banquet hall, hotel or country club, there's always other smaller options in communities that are great and affordable. This clubhouse is setup in a nice neighborhood in Stuart Florida and its situated on a small lake with a pool on the patio, a nice dancefloor area separate from the area where guests can sit. It's a really great place for pictures and very easy access.  The Duckwood clubhouse has a parking lot that can fit about 20-30 vehicles with a long sidewalk to the main door. It has a nice covered porch area all the way around which could be used as a cocktail hour or mingling hour setup. The pool is a great place for that too with ...

 We had the opportunity to test out a new wedding venue and it was very cool. Rustic style weddings and ranch, farm and barn weddings are definitely a popular way to go. They are less expensive than traditional country clubs or hotels, trendy and unique. Plus they are much more secluded and allow the guests to have a more intimate setting without other people in the way. Welcome to Rayshell Ranch, located in Loxahatchee Florida just west of West Lake which is a booming area. Rayshell is way out west in the heart of the countryside and is literally on a farm down long windy dirt roads. So if you want that "actual barn feel" this is exactly that. As you drive into the property it has a beautiful pond with water fountain out front, a white gazebo and a nice drive area to pull up and drop off guests.  We've visited many different styles of event venues, from country clubs, to hotels, outdoor venues to barns, clubhouses and more. We've come to a unique, cute and simple but modern classic place to have a wedding or party, anniversary or just a fun gathering. Palm Grove Clubhouse is a banquet hall located in south Ft Pierce north Port St Lucie. This community is a 55+ age but could still be rented out for an event. It's right off US highway 1 in Ft Pierce and is in the heart of the community. With lots of parking around the building, and several entrances is easy to get to. There's beautiful pond in the back of the building with a sunset view and is a great place for a ceremony. As you walk into the door to the banquet room, it's a nice open room with lots of space. It's a restaurant, a bar, a wedding venue, a tropical setting and it's close to shops and the beach. Welcome to the Twisted Tuna in Jupiter Florida which is known for fantastic fishing, beaches and really great shopping. With Harborside literally across the street and some greta mom & pop cafes to checkout, your guests will appreciate how close hotels and nightlife are. This location is a newly rennovated building and offers 2 floors and lots of space.  Stuart Florida is a beautiful town with a very relaxing, boat friendly, fishing, camping and family oriented atmosphere. It has many great places for weddings and events. The downtown area of Stuart is a fun place to hang out with family and friends and has live bands, restaurants, bars, playgrounds, shops and so much more.  The popularity of rustic weddings has skyrocketed over recent years and many couples choose a more country style family oriented venue where guests can relax and come together to celebrate their special day. There are many options throughout Florida and we want to introduce you to a very intimate, extremely cute and "little piece of paradise" style rustic wedding venue. Twisted Oak Farm is located in Vero Beach Florida very close to I-95 just off the main road. As you first arrive to Twisted Oak you'll make your way down a dirt drive path around a house to the barn area.   We had the opportunity to visit and perform at a new venue (to us) on the Treasure Coast. Many people are looking for venues that are right on the ocean & beach area. Many of these places are either hotels or parks but having a venue that's large enough to accomodate a big crowd and still be affordable is hard to find. Tucked away just next to Kyle G's seafood in Jensen Beach on the northern side is Oceanfront and Windmill located in Windmill Village by the Sea. It has 2 floors with the banquet hall on the second floor. It's a large open room with a kitchen area on the back wall, restrooms off to the side and beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean overlooking the beach and water. There are many classic and oldschool wedding and party venues throughout Florida that have stood the test of time. We want to take over to a very cool and timeless place that is great for parties, sweet 16s, quinces, wedding receptions and any other birthday or get together. The Heritage Center in Vero Beach Florida is a historic building in the very center of the downtown area. It's situated in a beautiful park area with tennis courts, a playground and right by other historical facilities such as the original courthouse from the early 20th century and several other places.  As you arrive to the Heritage Center there's parking around the street area with a sidewalk that goes up to the main doors. You'll walk in a wooden door and immediately see a large open banquet room. It has a fireplace off to the side and directly to the back of the room is a large stage area.  We wanted to revisit a really great venue that we've had the pelasure of performing at for many years and several decades. The Jupiter Civic Center is a hidden gem right on the beach located near the Jupiter Lighthouse, Carlin park and the Jupiter inlet. The building itself is literally right on the beach and overlooks the sand and Atlantic Ocean. It's great to have your ceremony on the beach or the deck area and/or cocktail hour on the deck as well. This venue can accomodate about 50 guests comfortably but could have more depending on how you setup the room. The bulding is a historic one that has been renovated over the years with extra features.  As you arrive to the facility, keep in mind this is a beach location so sometimes parking can be limited so plan accordingly so you'll have plenty of room for guests to park.
