South Florida Gig Log and Event DJ Venues

 Along the intracoastal waterway in Martin County and almost into St Lucie is a hidden gem that is part of the Jensen Beach downtown area. With restaurants lining the area including Mulligans and Thirsty Turtle, among many other mom and pop bars & grills is a really cool building thats both modern in style and historic at the same time. Welcome to Jensen Beach Community Center. This is a 2 story building with a really small museum on the ground floor highlighting history of Martin county and surrounding areas. On the second floor is a nice open banquet hall with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main road and large vaulted ceilings. The floor is carpeted but it's thin carpet and a dance floor could most certainly be brought in. The room itself is long and rectangular with the best layout having the dance area towards the back of the room which also has a projector and screen available for slideshows.  We have a very nice and secluded venue for our next blog. In the western part of Jupiter Florida, there are many farms and rustic style venues but one definitely stands out as a beautiful and unique place to have a wedding. Welcome to Whitetrail Farms in Jupiter Florida, a rustic, green venue with lush fields and greenery. It has a main entrance with ample parking and you can use a valet or not have one. There's a gorgeous sidewalk leading to the main reception hall. Facing the main door to the barn is a great place for a ceremony and they also have another ceremony location next to it.  Off to the side of the barn is a covered area great for a cocktail and mingling hour. You can place your guest book, a photo booth and there's a large bar area.  We had the opportunity to visit a venue we have never performed at before and it was a lot of fun and gorgeous place to have your event. On the very north end of Martin County, Palm City Florida and southern most point of St Lucie is a small piece of paradise in a community that could be considered one of the five star venues of the area. Tesoro Golf and Country club is a multi-million dollar golfing and residential community with beautiful homes and a clubhouse that is top notch. The clubhouse is at the very end of the community as you go through the guard gate and drive through amazing golf courses you'll be greeted by a miniature Breakers Palm Beach style drive area that takes you to a circular drive up and drop off area with lots of parking.  One of the most famous places for horse racing and polo playing in the world is located in a country-like setting out west in the farmlands of Wellington Florida. Many wealthy people and even celebrities have homes out here on beautiful acres of land. There are several country clubs in the Wellington area and one of these long time treasures is Wellington National Golf Club, formally Binks Forest Golf Club. It has a very upscale and classy clubhouse with several party rooms and banquet rooms available. The building has definitely stood the test of time through hurricanes and remodeling, city changes and numerous events over the years.  Stuart Florida is a town known for fishing, beautiful ocean views, relaxing cafes & restaurants on the water, tropical paradise and an all around nice place to live, work and play. Stuart and the Treasure coast is also a great place to have weddings and events as they offer some perfect locations for you and your guests. The Tropical Wedding Venue, located in western stuart is a very intimate setting and offers a beautiful garden style venue with the best of both worlds, an area for ceremonies and an area for receptions. Keep in mind, this is a completely outdoor venue so good weather is a must, but you can always setup an optional tent too.  Downtown West Palm Beach is a place that you can enjoy and sightsee all year. There's lots to do including restaurants, bars, clubs, beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway and the city, Clematis by night, coffee shops, City Place and more. Having your wedding, party or special event in West Palm Beach is exciting and unique. Many brides, grooms and guests will have their event and then plan a fun after party downtown.  We're going to take a trip to the south on this blog and tell you about a very unique resort that is situated very close to the Miami International Airport and close to many restaurants and hotels. With it's huge golf course, elegant marble and gold fixtures and amazing layout it's definitely high on the scale for ratings. Trump National Doral Miami boasts the high end of event planning. There are several buildings on the property and 2 of these specialize in events, from weddings to mitzvahs, sweet 16s to corporate events. We're going to talk about the separate event banquet hall that is on the west side of the property. It has its own building that can accomodate up to 125-150 guests and is a beautiful open room.  We're travelling down south a ways to Boynton Beach Florida. This area has numerous country clubs, event venues, hotels and more. We have one in particular that is a really unique layout and has lots of room for your guests. Situated off I-95 just a few miles to the west in a gated community is Indian Spring Country Club which is home to many residents and boasts a gorgeous clubhouse for your wedding, party, mitzvah or gathering. As you pull up they have a valet service to assist you or you can park in their parking lot. It's a decent size lot and is very close to the clubhouse. There's a ramp with a covering to easily bring your party or wedding items in and your vendors can also bring their equipment in too. As you make your way up the stairs or ramp, you'll be greeted by a foyer area as you walk in that curves around in a U shape to a very cool bar area.  We're going back to the very beginning with this blog as a DJ company. One of the originals in the area and a hotel that we've performed at many years and still operates today is the Marriott in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. This is one of the venues as an entertainment company we first started at decades ago. The Marriott in Palm Beach Gardens has truely stood the test of time because its one of the first hotels in the Gardens area. Palm Beach Gardens is known for very upscale and classy places to enjoy. The Gardens Mall and many shopping centers are available for you and your guests. There's lots to do prior to your event or wedding and afterwards.  Just down the street from Florida's Turnpike on the west side of Palm City in farm country is a really cool venue for cowgirls and cowboys, brides and grooms and guests too! Rockin H Ranch is where it's at. This is a large property that's a farm and ranch with a gorgeous facility that's all open and airy. As you first pull in down the long windy driveway you'll see the main barn area in front of you. As you pull around to the back of the building they have a large field that is setup for parking. It's a lighted parking lot so it's easy to navigate. There's plenty of parking for 100 people or more. The very front of the barn area is an open porch that's covered with tables and chairs, and a bar area for cocktail hour. It's a greatplace for your guests to relax and have a drink.  For your wedding ceremony it can be setup indoors or outdoors at their ceremony in the lawn area.  We're going to switch gears for this blog and talk about a really cool place that's a little bit of everything. You could have a sweet16, a birthday party, a wedding or company party at this venue. It's also a restaurant where you can enjoy dinner and entertainment. This venue is Galuppi's in Pompano Beach Florida, a suburb of Ft Lauderdale. It has a really nice area for a wedding ceremony outside as well as lots of space indoors for a ceremony, cocktail hour and your reception. There's a stage for bands and musician's to play and a fullbar and restaurant inside too. Galuppi's Pompano Beach has several party rooms to accomodate your event and they can create a larger room or smaller more intimate room depending on your request. They can have a guest count of 25 all the way up to 125 depending on your layout and event size.  Yes! We totally DJed a wedding at a waterpark facility. This blog is a little different then our normal hotels, country clubs, clubhouses and parks that we perform services at. Fort Lauderdale and Broward County Florida have numerous venues for parties, weddings, sweet 16s, kids' parties and more. But a little while back we have the coolest experience when someone rented out Calypso Cove Aquatic Facility in Margate Florida which is a suburb of Fort Lauderdale and a very prominent city in south Florida. It's a smaller waterpark with several pools, numerous slides, a kids splash area, playground, a snack area and even a movie screen to show movies by the pool. Anyways, a customer decided to switch it up and they rented the park for the evening for their wedding reception. Now this was a more casual reception, guests wore beachy attire and sundresses, and the bride and groom wore flip flops and light clothes.  These days you can't find too many classic style venues that offer a taste of the oldies but here in Delray Beach Florida they've brough back an era that isn't forgotten. Welcome to Ellie's Diner and the Flamingo Ballroom. Ellie's Diner is a 50's era diner restaurant with all the hot pink and light blues of the era with checkered floors, old pictures, classic cars and of course comfort food that's grilled to perfection. Many people enjoy having parties and weddings here because of the convenience of the 2 rooms available. The restaurant is in the very front of the building, where guests can enjoy the best of the 50s and the other half of the venue is the Flamingo Ballroom which is a nice medium size room that has its own entrance, dance floor area, tables and restrooms.  Hidden directly in South Miami is the coolest little venue for your wedding ceremony and reception. Deep in the heart of Miami directly in Coral Gables Florida is a venue called The Club of Knights. An elegant, modern and classic place that looks like a nightclub but also has the beautiful wedding reception vibe going for it. As you pull up to the Club of Knights it's almost hidden amongst the Miami beauty of the buildings in the area and glass doors at the very front of the building will lead you into a very cool foyer / main front room with a full bar setup.  We're back with another rustic, country style wedding venue that will give impress you with it's gorgeous look and elegant feel. Ever After Farms is nestled in the countryside of Indiantown Florida just west of Stuart, FL. As you pull into this amazing location, they have a long driveway that takes you to the very front of the barn area. There's lots of parking all around the front of the building. Party busses can even fit neatly and drive all the way around to pick up and drop off guests. They of course have horses in the field and a beautiful tree that's in the very back where the ceremony is. As you walk around the building, you'll find a nice sidewalk that takes you to the ceremony site and the cocktail hour area. They have a bar pick up window where drinks can be served.  The ceremony area is huge and can accommodate easily 75 or more people, possibly a maximum of 125 comfortably. Kai Kai Farms Wedding Venue We get to perform at some of the neatest venues in Florida. Rustic Venues are a very popular style of wedding and offer the coolest setting of the outdoors.
