There's many traditional wedding and party venues available in the state of Florida. As a party planner, guest of honor or brides and grooms, you have choices such as a rustic barn or farm, hotel, church, park or country club. Sometimes you can also think outside the normal wedding or party styles and try something a little more adventurous. Many people love the zoo and little do some know that you can actually have a wedding or a party there. Which takes us to a very cool and extremely unique venue, the Palm Beach Zoo. We've had the opportunity to perform a number of events here as DJ, photo booth and uplights. It's so much fun and you get to experience a different kind of event from the same reception that many have. The Palm Beach Zoo is such a cool place and you get a vip experience where you can walk the park and see some up-close animals. They have banquet room that is setup just for your party, wedding, kids event or sweet 16. Their banquet room can comfortably fit 75 guests and can be extended to their outside patio area with another 40-50 guests as needed. You can also have a DJ or musician indoor or outdoor with a dedicated area for dancing. You don't even need a dancefloor as it's all tile and wood outside.
There's plenty of parking just outside of the main gates and you can walk in through their side entrance with any event props and accessories. Keep in mind that you may have to bring in your own caterer to provide the food and any additional items will have to be brought in too. The staff at the Palm Beach Zoo can provide you with the tables and chairs you need. As far as photography goes for weddings, this venue will provide you with all the photo ops you need. You'll have more than enough pictures to choose from after your event. Plus there's lots of animals to get photos with too so if you're a zoo fanatic, this is just for you and for kids it's a win-win.
For weddings, you can choose a great place at the zoo to have your ceremony as they have plenty of spots to choose from. You can even have your cocktail hour on the covered patio overlooking the water and your reception indoors. Keep in mind, this venue is best on non-rainy days as your guests will want to look around and walk to the different areas of the zoo. There's not a lot of covered areas so definitely plan your event on a good weather day. A couple other notes to keep in mind, vendors will want some additional time bringing in equipment, as you have to pass through 2 gates to get to the main room. For senior citizens, it's a little bit of walking so prepare by have any necessary canes, wheelchairs or scooters too. It really is a great place to visit and have your party, weding or special event. Event corporate or company holiday parties would enjoy this place. Best of luck on planning your event.
