Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association Wedding and Party Venue

Deep in downtown West Palm Beach is a hidden gem that's great for numerous parties and weddings. The Palm Beach County Police Benevolent building is a very cool and not talked about venue. Just before I-95 and downtown just before the main city right by the airport, this building is super close to everything. With such convenience for your guests, they can fly right into Palm Beach International and there's a multitude of hotels to stay at too. As you pull up to the Police Benevolent facility there's a decent sized parking lot that can hold quite a number of cars. There's also a very nice circular drop off with roof covering, which helps with rain or bad weather. It's also great to drop off guests. As you walk in the main doors there's a beautiful lobby area that has a small museum-like layout of historic police memorabilia. It's really neat to look at and kids also enjoy checking it out. As you make your way down the hallway, you'll see plenty of room to have a cocktail hour, possibly a photo booth or a pre-party area to visit before the main event. It has a gorgeous chandelier and marble tile flooring. There's also easily accessible restrooms and areas to sit.

Once you make your way into the main reception room, it's a beautiful open ballroom that can house a guest count of about 80-125 people. There's plenty of space for a buffet, a gift table, a cake table and of course a bar. The ballroom also has a TV screen to display slideshows or videos. You can also put-up drapery or decorations as you see fit. This is a great room for uplighting too. Some other benefits of the Police Benevolent Association building are the in-house kitchen they have to prepare your food. Lots of space to take pictures and portraits for your photographer.

Some side notes to this venue to keep in mind are you'll have to bring in an outside catering service and planner (if you feel you need one) to provide food and setup the room. There's not a lot of elegant photo ops here and if you're looking for scenic backdrops for your portraits or wedding photos you may have to go elsewhere. To use this facility, you'' have to fill out the necessary paperwork to use it. Their website can also fill you in on how to become a member. If you're planning a wedding over 125 guests it might be a little cramped, with your tables and your entertainment. It's best to come up with a layout for the room. The Palm Beach County Police Benevolent Association building in West Palm Beach is a great venue to look into.
