 We have a new venue that we had the pleasure of visiting. This venue doubles as a place for kids and families and hosts weddings, parties, baby showers and get togethers. It's a very unique place with many different activities, farm animals, food, and fun. The Hobe Sound Farmers Market open most days till 2pm and 5pm on certain days, is really neat. There's a nice full size parking lot right up front as your first drive in and there's ample parking. The farmers market is located directly off I-95 and Bridge Road to the west. So its super convenient to get places and its within 5 minutes of hotels. So if you're planning a wedding or an event with guests flying or driving in, there's plenty hotels for them to stay.  As you drive in, theres a dirt road that takes you all the way around to the very back where the barn is.  Vero Beach is known for having a wide variety of rustic style venues, barn & farm style wedding facilities. There are so many different kinds of rustic places to have your reception from being in an actual field with cows and horses to a barn setting with super upscale amentities. There are some with no air conditioning or walls and some that are like ballroom or country clubs with air, and gorgeous layouts. Well this next venue is everything put together in one. Welcome to The Rustica in Vero Beach Florida. This venue has it all and it takes the elegant feel and puts it together with a rustic barn, farm look but very classy. As you first drive into their property you're greeted with a long drive area showcasing the entire place as you drive to the parking area.  Situated in Palm City in a gorgeous boating area with lots of trees and beautiful homes is a great clubhouse that offers many amenities. Palm Cove Golf Club is a really great building that offers 2 floors with the second floor being a nice open long 2 room event hall. This is a gated community so keep in mind you'll have to have guests names or you can take a party bus to the clubhouse. You'll pull in and immediately be able to pull up under the overhang drive area, great for unloading event items, party favors, vendor equipment, caterers, etc. There's a foyer area with elevators to the left, great for a photo booth or just a welcome area. There's also a really cool staircase, so you have 2 options to go upstairs. As you make your way up to the second floor there's another really nice greeting area where a buffet could be setup or photo booth. There's also restrooms opposit the elevator and stairs.  Along the intracoastal waterway in Martin County and almost into St Lucie is a hidden gem that is part of the Jensen Beach downtown area. With restaurants lining the area including Mulligans and Thirsty Turtle, among many other mom and pop bars & grills is a really cool building thats both modern in style and historic at the same time. Welcome to Jensen Beach Community Center. This is a 2 story building with a really small museum on the ground floor highlighting history of Martin county and surrounding areas. On the second floor is a nice open banquet hall with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main road and large vaulted ceilings. The floor is carpeted but it's thin carpet and a dance floor could most certainly be brought in. The room itself is long and rectangular with the best layout having the dance area towards the back of the room which also has a projector and screen available for slideshows. You can comfortably fit about 60-70 people with room left over for a buffet ...

 This venue is not exactly a public event location but we really enjoyed our time here. The Duckwood homeowners association also known as Duckwood Clubhouse is a beautiful, cute and homie layout that's great for smaller family & friends weddings, parties and events. The point of the blog is for those who don't want to book a large banquet hall, hotel or country club, there's always other smaller options in communities that are great and affordable. This clubhouse is setup in a nice neighborhood in Stuart Florida and its situated on a small lake with a pool on the patio, a nice dancefloor area separate from the area where guests can sit. It's a really great place for pictures and very easy access.  The Duckwood clubhouse has a parking lot that can fit about 20-30 vehicles with a long sidewalk to the main door. It has a nice covered porch area all the way around which could be used as a cocktail hour or mingling hour setup. The pool is a great place for that too with ...

 We have a classic venue that's stood the test of time and has been a party and wedding event place for decades. The city of Jensen Beach, an extension of Stuart Florida is a beautiful town on the intracoastal waterway in the treasure coast. There's shops, restaurants, bars and lots of cottages and beach homes. Directly on the water and we mean right on the waterway with docks and boats surrounding it is the Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House. This is a seafood restaurant and event hall that has a very oldschool boating and dockside feel to it. As you turn into the parking lot, there's a long driveway with lots of self parking as well as a valet available too. As you pull around to the front of the restaurant, there's a nice circular covered driveway area that's great for dropping off guests.  We had the opportunity to visit a venue we have never performed at before and it was a lot of fun and gorgeous place to have your event. On the very north end of Martin County, Palm City Florida and southern most point of St Lucie is a small piece of paradise in a community that could be considered one of the five star venues of the area. Tesoro Golf and Country club is a multi-million dollar golfing and residential community with beautiful homes and a clubhouse that is top notch. The clubhouse is at the very end of the community as you go through the guard gate and drive through amazing golf courses you'll be greeted by a miniature Breakers Palm Beach style drive area that takes you to a circular drive up and drop off area with lots of parking. The drive up covered area is wonderful for those dropping off families, senior citizens or kids. As you enter the main doors, it's very rustic modern with some hints of early 1900s looks.  We have wrote about many places in the Stuart Florida area and here is one that we thought should be added to our blog. Directly next to Stuart FL and we're talking literally across a bridge is the city of Palm City. It's a beautiful town with gorgeous homes, small restuarants and brunch places and lush green trees and upscale waterfronts. With it's gorgeous views of the intracoastal waterway and some of the best sidewalks to jog and walk in the whole area (for those outdoors people) this is an excellent place to check out. Just as you cross over the Veterans Memorial Bridge right on the waterway is Pipers Landing Country Club. It has lots of great golfing and the best views to play on. There's a long scenic circular driveway that takes you up to the main clubhouse which features a covered area which is great to drop guests off, especially kids and senior citizens.  Just down the street from Florida's Turnpike on the west side of Palm City in farm country is a really cool venue for cowgirls and cowboys, brides and grooms and guests too! Rockin H Ranch is where it's at. This is a large property that's a farm and ranch with a gorgeous facility that's all open and airy. As you first pull in down the long windy driveway you'll see the main barn area in front of you. As you pull around to the back of the building they have a large field that is setup for parking. It's a lighted parking lot so it's easy to navigate. There's plenty of parking for 100 people or more. The very front of the barn area is an open porch that's covered with tables and chairs, and a bar area for cocktail hour. It's a greatplace for your guests to relax and have a drink.  For your wedding ceremony it can be setup indoors or outdoors at their ceremony in the lawn area. For this wedding we were setup indoors for over 100 people and it worked...

 We're back with another rustic, country style wedding venue that will give impress you with it's gorgeous look and elegant feel. Ever After Farms is nestled in the countryside of Indiantown Florida just west of Stuart, FL. As you pull into this amazing location, they have a long driveway that takes you to the very front of the barn area. There's lots of parking all around the front of the building. Party busses can even fit neatly and drive all the way around to pick up and drop off guests. They of course have horses in the field and a beautiful tree that's in the very back where the ceremony is. As you walk around the building, you'll find a nice sidewalk that takes you to the ceremony site and the cocktail hour area. They have a bar pick up window where drinks can be served.  The ceremony area is huge and can accommodate easily 75 or more people, possibly a maximum of 125 comfortably.
