 The city of Stuart Florida is known for it's beautiful ocean and intracoastal views, fishing, snorkeling, diving and beaches. It's surrounded by so many gorgeous beach locations, golf spots and of course downtown areas. Right on the intracoastal waterway just over the bridge from Palm City and 5 minutes from downtown Stuart is a very classic and cute clubhouse that's stood the test of time. Established in the 70s and 80s, Monterey Yacht Club is a condo complex with a fantastic spot picked out right on the water. Monterey Yacht club boasts easy access with a perfect parking lot that is right next to the clubhouse with lots of parking. As you make your way into the building theres a walkway that goes up to the door with a kitchen access door on one side and a main door for the other. The kitchen access is great for your caterers.  We've stumbled upon a hidden gem in the Stuart Florida area. It's so hard to find affordable venues that are nice, clean, roomy and easy to access. On the border or Hobe Sound and Stuart Florida in Martin county is the Port Salerno Civic Center. Right by lots of boating and the main waterway with several seafood restaurants and little shops, its an amazing place to have your next Birthday, company party, wedding reception or get together. Right off Dixie highway this building has a good size parking lot directly next to it for easy parking. It has easy access for wheelchairs and offloading equipment, party props, food, etc. Port Salerno Civic Center is a nice open room which can be setup how you want.  Along the intracoastal waterway in Martin County and almost into St Lucie is a hidden gem that is part of the Jensen Beach downtown area. With restaurants lining the area including Mulligans and Thirsty Turtle, among many other mom and pop bars & grills is a really cool building thats both modern in style and historic at the same time. Welcome to Jensen Beach Community Center. This is a 2 story building with a really small museum on the ground floor highlighting history of Martin county and surrounding areas. On the second floor is a nice open banquet hall with a beautiful balcony overlooking the main road and large vaulted ceilings. The floor is carpeted but it's thin carpet and a dance floor could most certainly be brought in. The room itself is long and rectangular with the best layout having the dance area towards the back of the room which also has a projector and screen available for slideshows.  This venue is not exactly a public event location but we really enjoyed our time here. The Duckwood homeowners association also known as Duckwood Clubhouse is a beautiful, cute and homie layout that's great for smaller family & friends weddings, parties and events. The point of the blog is for those who don't want to book a large banquet hall, hotel or country club, there's always other smaller options in communities that are great and affordable. This clubhouse is setup in a nice neighborhood in Stuart Florida and its situated on a small lake with a pool on the patio, a nice dancefloor area separate from the area where guests can sit. It's a really great place for pictures and very easy access.  The Duckwood clubhouse has a parking lot that can fit about 20-30 vehicles with a long sidewalk to the main door.  We have a classic venue that's stood the test of time and has been a party and wedding event place for decades. The city of Jensen Beach, an extension of Stuart Florida is a beautiful town on the intracoastal waterway in the treasure coast. There's shops, restaurants, bars and lots of cottages and beach homes. Directly on the water and we mean right on the waterway with docks and boats surrounding it is the Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House. This is a seafood restaurant and event hall that has a very oldschool boating and dockside feel to it. As you turn into the parking lot, there's a long driveway with lots of self parking as well as a valet available too. As you pull around to the front of the restaurant, there's a nice circular covered driveway area that's great for dropping off guests.  We have wrote about many places in the Stuart Florida area and here is one that we thought should be added to our blog. Directly next to Stuart FL and we're talking literally across a bridge is the city of Palm City. It's a beautiful town with gorgeous homes, small restuarants and brunch places and lush green trees and upscale waterfronts. With it's gorgeous views of the intracoastal waterway and some of the best sidewalks to jog and walk in the whole area (for those outdoors people) this is an excellent place to check out. Just as you cross over the Veterans Memorial Bridge right on the waterway is Pipers Landing Country Club. It has lots of great golfing and the best views to play on. There's a long scenic circular driveway that takes you up to the main clubhouse which features a covered area which is great to drop guests off, especially kids and senior citizens.  Stuart Florida is a beautiful little town with lots to do and scenic views of the water. There's several wedding and party venues that you'll really enjoy. Willoughby Golf Club is one of these classy destinations, with a gorgeous view of the golf course, full-service bar and vaulted ceilings in the main ballroom, this is a place to impress your guests. The main ballroom has a dance floor available for your guests. With sconces lining the walls and an amazing chandelier in the center of the room, what's not to love. This room can hold a comfortable 100 or more guests. We can also provide uplights to spice up the ballroom as well.  Towards the back of the room there's doors to go into a smaller room that's great for a photo booth . This also leads into the bar and lounge area. The bar area is perfect for cocktail hour just before your reception starts.
