South Florida Gig Log and Event DJ Venues

 This is a little different than our normal blog posts about weddings and parties. We had the opportunity to perform at a cool little venue in the Treasure Coast area of South Florida in a small city of Stuart Florida. Stuart FL is known for boating, beautiful beaches and a town that's made for relaxation. They have lots to do and enjoy but are known for fishing, blue ocean, great restaurants, and shopping. In the very center of this gorgeous area is Stuart Yacht & Country Club which is very elegant & upscale. Many of the local residents enjoy dinner dances and events at the clubhouse.  It features a remodeled beautiful building with a drive up and drop off area that is covered, an easy access ramp with wheelchair access and easy to load in and out your things. The golf course is excellent for pictures or of course playing golf in the beautiful Florida weather and lots of parking.  The city of Stuart has several small towns within the area and it's a very relaxing laid-back area. Right on the intracoastal waterway the town of Palm City is a beautiful area, great to grow up in and enjoy life. One place in particular that is great to have a party, wedding or special event is the Palm City Community Building or center. It's on the west side of the bridge going over the waterway and into the city of Stuart.  Palm City Community Center is a cute building that has stood the test of time as it's been in this location for decades. It has now been fully remodeled and has a beautiful modern look to it on the inside. The building is a nice open room with space to hold a comfortable 50-80 people and boasts a modern light wood floor.  Stuart Florida is known for it's amazing beaches, fishing areas and awesome tropical views. Directly across the way on the north side of Jupiter Island is Huthcinson Island that is home to numerous boaters, beach homes and golf communities. One particular wedding venue that stands out as a popular desination to get married is the House of Refuge. It's a historic building that has a museum that has many artifacts from settlers here. The location has amazing beach views overlooking the atlantic ocean and it has the perfect patio area out back by the water that is used for weddings, parties and events. The back is setup with pavers and all open access directly to the beach.  We have provided sound for many ceremonies out on the beach and the one thing you have to keep in mind is power is very limited.
