One of the most famous places for horse racing and polo playing in the world is located in a country-like setting out west in the farmlands of Wellington Florida. Many wealthy people and even celebrities have homes out here on beautiful acres of land. There are several country clubs in the Wellington area and one of these long time treasures is Wellington National Golf Club, formally Binks Forest Golf Club. It has a very upscale and classy clubhouse with several party rooms and banquet rooms available. The building has definitely stood the test of time through hurricanes and remodeling, city changes and numerous events over the years.
What's unique about Wellington National is the layout of the facility. It has a main clubhouse in the very front with a large courtyard and in the back another full size banquet room across the way. It also has a very nice golf course and ample parking for large events. As you pull into the main parking lot you'll be greeted by a nice pull up circle driveway with an overhang so you can drop guests off in the event theirs bad weather. It's a very convenient for families and senior citizens. There's a nice ramp for both wheelchairs and your vendors to roll up equipment to the building. There's also a stairway leading to the main door. Upon enterting inside there's a nice foyer where guests can gather prior to the event starting. There's a party room to the right side and the main ballroom straight in front of you.
Entering the ballroom you'll see a gorgeous wood floor and modern layout with a fairly high-tech lighting system. The room can be set however you want with their controlled lighting for each part of the room. They have chandeliers throughout the ceiling and nice glass windows and doors overlooking the patio. There's an in-house kitchen that can prepare all your meals and they offer both a buffet style and a plated, sit down meal as well. Restrooms are located directly outside the room and are clean and modern. The main ballroom and the other ballroom across the courtyard patio area are both nice open concept rooms and they can setup all inclusive tables and chairs for you. Both rooms can fit about 75-150 guests comfortably with a buffet station, gift table, sweetheart table and anything else you would like.
For those having a ceremony or a cocktail hour, the courtyard patio area is a nice place or you can use the additional smaller room they have for ceremonies too. They have lots of options available to accomdate your event. Some side notes of Wellington National Golf club, they have a nice setting to take wedding shots but if you're looking for somethng unique and different, this is a fairly similar setup to many of the country clubs in the area. Also they do have golf going on throughout the day so there will be golfers present walking around too. Lastly this is far west of I-95 and the turnpike and roughly 15 minutes from the airport for those flying in for your event. There's also a limited number of hotels in the area and only one in Wellington Florida thats close by so you'll want to research hotels. Wellington National Golf Club is a great place to check out!
