Norton Museum of Art West Palm Beach Event Party Wedding Venue

 Downtown West Palm Beach is a place that you can enjoy and sightsee all year. There's lots to do including restaurants, bars, clubs, beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway and the city, Clematis by night, coffee shops, City Place and more. Having your wedding, party or special event in West Palm Beach is exciting and unique. Many brides, grooms and guests will have their event and then plan a fun after party downtown. There's a trolley that takes you around the town, you can walk as everything is very close or drive if you prefer. Which brings us to the main plot of this particular blog post. We had the pleasure of performing at a very cool place downtown. The Norton Museum of Art right next to Palm Beach Atlantic University and across the water from the island of Palm Beach. It's a very unique and cool location with hundreds of sculptures, paintings and art. Your guests will have a blast exploring the grounds indoors and out. We won't go into heavy detail on the actual Norton Museum of Art but we would say to see it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. It is a huge building with waterfalls and fountains, gardens and aisles of creative pieces. 

This venue would be a great place to have your next wedding, special event, party or corporate affair. There's 3 options for your event and your guests will enjoy the stunning layout of each. First there's a restaurant with full size bar. It can be turned into a party venue or reception and has a nice open floor plan where guests can dance, get drinks at the bar and tables cn be setup around the room. The food is very good and they can prepare it all in house. 

The restaurant is also great with some uplighting or add on a photo booth too. There's plenty of room for a guestbook and gift table, cake table and even a buffet area. It's a good option during the summer when it's hot or on a rainy day. The next area that is a great cocktail hour would be on the patio just outside the restaurant. It can host tables, a bar area and entertainment, either a musician or DJ. It would be good for smaller events from 25-50 guests. The restaurant could hold a comfortable 50-100 guests. 

The third option is outside on the main lawn in the very back of the building. They can provide a dance floor, a tent if needed and tables & chairs. The outside lawn is a goreous area and even has sculptures there too. The restrooms are very close right inside the main building and there's plenty of sidewalks for your guests. The outside lawn is surrounded by beautiful bushes and trees. 

Some side notes of the Norton Museum of Art to keep in mind too. For your senior citizens, there's a little bit of walking involved so make sure to have a wheelchair or walker for those that need it. Parking can be a little tricky on certain days so we would advise to speak with the facility on the best places to park for your event. The art museum is open during normal daily hours so it's best to pick a time that won't have gallery guests walking through your event. Lastly, there's a nice loading dock area for your vendors and even to drop of event props and materials. It can be a little cramped if you have a lot of professionals dropping off things. Finally, your photographer will love the photo ops available for your wedding or party. Overall it's a great place and very unique. So give the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach a try.
