We had the opportunity to test out a new wedding venue and it was very cool. Rustic style weddings and ranch, farm and barn weddings are definitely a popular way to go. They are less expensive than traditional country clubs or hotels, trendy and unique. Plus they are much more secluded and allow the guests to have a more intimate setting without other people in the way. Welcome to Rayshell Ranch, located in Loxahatchee Florida just west of West Lake which is a booming area. Rayshell is way out west in the heart of the countryside and is literally on a farm down long windy dirt roads. So if you want that "actual barn feel" this is exactly that. As you drive into the property it has a beautiful pond with water fountain out front, a white gazebo and a nice drive area to pull up and drop off guests. It has parking spots to drop off wedding items and an awesome front porch area for cocktail hour. There's lots of access doors to go in and out and the caterer literally can have their own area with easy door access. It has restrooms upfront with a very western feel to them and a foyer which leads right into the banquet room. Rayshell is actually a real barn with air conditioning and all the amenities for confort.
There's a ceremony area that is designated with chairs and an archway for wedding ceremonies. Which is connected directly to the barn area. One of the best features of this place is it's very quiet, there's no noise and no one to disturb you. So it's really great for you and your guests. They also have a window directly to the bar so cocktail hour can be right outside and you can go up to the window to order your drink. Photos are also great with many areas to get photo ops. Your photographer will appreciate the availability of areas to get good shots.
Rayshell Ranch also has a beautiful chandelier in the middle, rustic wood seating and can accomodate about 70-80 people comfortably. With room for a guestbook area, cake, buffet and bar inside. Your sweetheart table can go upfront and there's plenty of space for tables. You can also have the ceremony inside if the weather is rainy or hot. The DJ or entertainer has their own side to setup also. And it's super easy access to bring in equipment too.
Some final notes on the facility, it's about 10 minutes from a shopping center so it's fairly close, it is way out and much if th roadways are dirt. You'll have to hire your own catering service to provide food. The staff is very nice and accommodating. There's no overhang to pull under but it is very close and easy to drop off kids and senior citizens. Definitely check this place out if you're looking for a rustic style venue in West Palm Beach!
