Stuart Florida is a beautiful town with a very relaxing, boat friendly, fishing, camping and family oriented atmosphere. It has many great places for weddings and events. The downtown area of Stuart is a fun place to hang out with family and friends and has live bands, restaurants, bars, playgrounds, shops and so much more. We had the opportunity to perform at a very cool and unique venue for a wedding. If you are looking for something that's different than the everyday country club, hotel or rustic style venue this place is definitely worth looking into. The Manor on St Lucie Crescent is in the very heart of the downtown area right by the intracoastal area and boating. It's literally next to the Roosevelt Bridge on the north end of Stuart.
This venue is basically a bed & breakfast style place with 2 floors. This is a cottage house with the ground floor having a kitchen area and a living space with sliding glass doors and a bathroom then you step out onto the backpatio area which is covered. This is a great place for a ceremony or you can use it as a place for dinner with your guests tables.
As you make your way around the side of the cottage house there's a large yard with a paved drive way area which is great for a dance floor. You can also setup guest tables, sweetheart table, cake and gift table. Your DJ or music entertainment can be setup either on the ground level or on the 2nd floor patio overlooking this area. Dinner can be prepared inside the first floor in the kitchen area. The venue is literally on the main road of US1 so it's very close to the mall, shops, restaurants and easy to get to downtown Stuart which is a half mile away.
There are stairs that take you on the side of the cottage up to the 2nd floor which is also a small kitchen area with a living room, bathroom, and a getting ready suite or guestroom whichever you want to use it for. Outside of the 2nd floor is an awesome patio balcony that spans around half the house. Great for pictures and portraits, you could also have it as a cocktail hour or cocktail can be downstairs too. There's lots of areas there for your photographer to take picture too.
Some side notes about the Manor on St Lucie Crescent. There's no elevator at the cottage house so everything is by stairs on the 2nd floor so you'll just have to keep that in mind. There's a covered area on the back patio incase of rain or bad weather but it does have limited space for about 40-50 people. Your entertainment or DJ will have to bring their equipment up the stairs if you want them to overlook the side reception area. The side area is very spacious but may require a covering if you choose. You'll also want to have you're own caterer here and they can also have access to the north end of the house to bring food in. Lastly, parking can be a little tricky so you will have to look into a valet service to help with parking vehicles. It's very easy to get to though as it's on the main street and wheelchair accessible. The Manor on St Lucie Crescent is a very cool and different wedding venue and it's worth checking out. It can easily accomodate up to 100 people depending on your layout.
