Are you looking for a high class, elegant and garden-like setting that's simpler than a large and expensive country club. We've got a beautiful venue that is right in the very center of Tampa Florida and it's right on the waterway. In a section of the city called Sun Bay South which is a peninsula on the Tampa Bay water. Tampa Federation Garden Clubs is a great place to have your wedding, sweet 16, Quince or even a corporate function. Your photographer will enjoy all the gorgeous views, photo ops and places for portraits. It has a lawn area that surrounds the front of the building and a water view plus an area to have your wedding ceremony. There's an outside foyer with tall pillars and patio area, great for cocktail hour or pre-ceremony get togethers. The trees are a nice addition to your photos and the overall look of the building. Tampa Federation Garden also has very large windows looking into the front room. It also has white marble floors and dimmable lighting in the ballroom.
As you first enter the main building you'll be greeted by a large hall & foyer area. This is a wonderful area for smaller parties,
photo booths, cocktail hour and buffet / food setup and much more. There's plenty of space for preparing the meals and storing event props. As you enter into the main ballroom it is very large and elegant. You can set up the room however you'd like.
Uplighting is a great option to illuminate the room too. For medium to large weddings this is the perfect setup. You can easily fit 150-250 guests no problem. There's no need for a dance floor as it has tile flooring and that's one item you won't have to worry about.
Your DJ or musician will enjoy the full size stage overlooking the ballroom. It's a nice separation allowing guests to have the open dance area. You can also add other lighting, fog and more. There's easy access to get equipment in and out of the building and your caterer will be able to put their vehicle to the building to setup too. There's getting ready rooms and restrooms just outside the ballroom and nice glass windows looking out. The ceiling is very tall so you can have tall centerpieces and a good size layout without any issues.
Some side notes to keep in mind for this venue. You will have to bring your own food and /or caterer in as they don't have anything in-house. There's a circular drive up and drop off area for guests but it's not covered. There's plenty of parking for guests in the main parking lot. You'll also have to bring in your own event service to setup tables and chairs plus the decor of your choice too. Tampa Federation Garden Clubs is a wonderful venue and great for anyone having a special event on the west coast.
