Your photographer will enjoy all the gorgeous views, photo ops and places for portraits. It has a lawn area that surrounds the front of the building and a water view plus an area to have your wedding ceremony.  We had the opportunity to venture over to the west coast of Florida for a really great evening. There's a lot of really cool wedding and party venues that are nestled on the beachside. One really unique venue literally located on the waterway overlooking the beautiful Tampa Bay area is the Rusty Pelican. Just 10 minutes from downtown Tampa, the Rusty Pelican features numerous party rooms for any occasion no matter tthe size or type of party. From sweet 16s to weddings and birthdays to corporate events, they have a room for anything. As you pull up to the building they have parking available as well as valet parking up front. You can pull right up and walk to the main entrance while the valet takes care of your car.  Deep in downtown West Palm Beach is a hidden gem that's great for numerous parties and weddings. The Palm Beach County Police Benevolent building is a very cool and not talked about venue. Just before I-95 and downtown just before the main city right by the airport, this building is super close to everything. With such convenience for your guests, they can fly right into Palm Beach International and there's a multitude of hotels to stay at too. As you pull up to the Police Benevolent facility there's a decent sized parking lot that can hold quite a number of cars. There's also a very nice circular drop off with roof covering, which helps with rain or bad weather. It's also great to drop off guests. As you walk in the main doors there's a beautiful lobby area that has a small museum-like layout of historic police memorabilia. It's really neat to look at and kids also enjoy checking it out.  We had the pleasure of performing at a new wedding location this week. There are 3 main types of wedding and party venues to choose from. There's beach & tropical venues, rustic style; barn or farm style wedding venues and country club or clubhouse venues. You can also have an event at a home but that's another category. This venue is a rustic and modern style one that is beautiful and classic. The Grand Ol' Barn in New Smyrna Beach is such a cool place to have your wedding or special event. Right by the Intracoastal waterway and close to the downtown area just 15 minutes south of Daytona Beach. The best part of this venue is it's all air conditioned and indoors. Everything is in house and you can have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one.  We have wrote about many places in the Stuart Florida area and here is one that we thought should be added to our blog. Directly next to Stuart FL and we're talking literally across a bridge is the city of Palm City. It's a beautiful town with gorgeous homes, small restuarants and brunch places and lush green trees and upscale waterfronts. With it's gorgeous views of the intracoastal waterway and some of the best sidewalks to jog and walk in the whole area (for those outdoors people) this is an excellent place to check out. Just as you cross over the Veterans Memorial Bridge right on the waterway is Pipers Landing Country Club. It has lots of great golfing and the best views to play on. There's a long scenic circular driveway that takes you up to the main clubhouse which features a covered area which is great to drop guests off, especially kids and senior citizens.  Stuart Florida is a town known for fishing, beautiful ocean views, relaxing cafes & restaurants on the water, tropical paradise and an all around nice place to live, work and play. Stuart and the Treasure coast is also a great place to have weddings and events as they offer some perfect locations for you and your guests. The Tropical Wedding Venue, located in western stuart is a very intimate setting and offers a beautiful garden style venue with the best of both worlds, an area for ceremonies and an area for receptions. Keep in mind, this is a completely outdoor venue so good weather is a must, but you can always setup an optional tent too.
