The Jupiter Civic Center Carlin Park Beach Weddings Sweet16 Birthday Party Venue

 We wanted to revisit a really great venue that we've had the pelasure of performing at for many years and several decades. The Jupiter Civic Center is a hidden gem right on the beach located near the Jupiter Lighthouse, Carlin park and the Jupiter inlet. The building itself is literally right on the beach and overlooks the sand and Atlantic Ocean. It's great to have your ceremony on the beach or the deck area and/or cocktail hour on the deck as well. This venue can accomodate about 50 guests comfortably but could have more depending on how you setup the room. The bulding is a historic one that has been renovated over the years with extra features. 



As you arrive to the facility, keep in mind this is a beach location so sometimes parking can be limited so plan accordingly so you'll have plenty of room for guests to park. There is a sidewalk that goes up an incline to the building and beach area. This can be a little tricky so for senior citizens, wheelchairs or anyone with mobility issues you may need some additional assistance. You walk up the boardwalk / sidewalk and there is a ramp and also steps. You'll immediately see the deck area which has an amazing view. You could put high top tables out there or a bar area. It wraps all the way aroundthe side for your caterers to bring their equipment. 


Making your way inside the building it's nice and open, it's all wood and atthe back of the room is a full size bar capable of hosting a buffet or anything you want. The restrooms are to the left back corner and are newly updated. Tables can be setup around the room and you can have the dance area in the center. The DJ or entertainment can setup either in the center back wall on the ocean side or off to the right. There's room for a gift or cake table as well. You can have rope lights or uplights if you choose. Your photographer will love the beach shots and there's a wooded area that is great for portraits as well.

A few things to keep in mind for this venue. There's no covering outside as you walk up to the building so keep that in mind incase of rain. There's an incline as you walk up the sidewalk so it can be a little steep for guests and vendors to get up. Anything larger then 60-70 people may not fit that well. There's no air conditioning since this is a building right on the beach so planning for a fall, winter or spring event would be the best. It's a great place to checkout. Keep the Jupiter Civic Center in mind.

The Addison Boca Raton Florida Weddings or Parties

            A s a mobile DJ entertainer we've had the pleasure of working at numerous venues. A great place we recently worked at is The Addison in Boca Raton Florida. I will give you a nice summary of the facility and what you can expect when you have your event there.              It's a nice facility for parties, weddings, even corporate affairs. It's right on the corner of Camino Gardens Blvd and Dixie Highway on the southeast side of Boca. As you turn into the parking lot of the Addison on the left side is numerous parking spots for your guests. So you will always be assured that there's a place to park. They also have valet parking too and parking around the . The building covers all the way around a courtyard with a large banyan tree in the center. The Sundy House Delray Beach Wedding Venue Restaurant Catering Receptions

                                       Finally another edition of our blog from a new place that we had a chance to work at. I personally have not had the pleasure of performing at the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida until this past weekend. My other DJs performed their in years past and enjoyed the great scenery. The Sundy house has some history based upon the venue and this is a great little getaway for those who want a small south Florida paradise with a taste of rivers, trees and cute gazebos.                                        I was told that originally the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida was the home of the first Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida. This home was remodeled more recently and turned into a hotel cottage type of venue with a restaurant, bar and lounge in the separate buildings and lush green natural areas throughout the facility.
