The Grand Ol' Barn New Smyra Florida Rustic Wedding Venue

 We had the pleasure of performing at a new wedding location this week. There are 3 main types of wedding and party venues to choose from. There's beach & tropical venues, rustic style; barn or farm style wedding venues and country club or clubhouse venues. You can also have an event at a home but that's another category. This venue is a rustic and modern style one that is beautiful and classic. The Grand Ol' Barn in New Smyrna Beach is such a cool place to have your wedding or special event. Right by the Intracoastal waterway and close to the downtown area just 15 minutes south of Daytona Beach. The best part of this venue is it's all air conditioned and indoors. Everything is in house and you can have a ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one.



As you pull up to the venue there's main doors on the very front of the barn to walk into and there's also a ramp and stairs to walk up to the side of the building. The building is one large room and has gorgeous wood flooring and vaulted ceilings. There's plenty of room for a large guest count from 75-200 guests comfortably. No dance floor is needed as it's the perfect setup for your dancing. They have drapery available to enhance the room and tables and chairs already prepared for you. We can also provide uplights or a photo booth to really add that extra touch. There's room for a buffet and cake table as well as gift and guestbook areas. There's a ramp available on the north end of the building for your vendors to bring equipment in and it's very easy to get to. There's plenty of parking across the street from the Grand Ol' Barn and there's a drop off area to allow guests to go in. 


The Grand Ol' Barn also has it's own kitchen and they can prepare your meals in-house which is very convenient. You don't have to hire additional caterers to bring food in. They can set everything up for you and the food is delicious. Additionally they have a great room to the south side of the barn that is enclosed for cocktail hours or have guests get drinks at the bar. They have portable bar areas that are setup as well. There's additional space on the east side with a hallway for storing party props and accessories.


Lastly, they have a really great ceremony area out on the lawn by the barn. It's perfect you to walk down the aisle to. A perk of this facility is the option to setup a ceremony in the additional side room in case of rain. Florida weather can be challenging sometimes so having the extra area is a bonus. Your photographer will love the backgrounds and great photo ops available. It's wheel chair accessible too. Definitely checkout this cool and unique venue, The Grand Ol' Barn in New Smyrna Florida.

The Addison Boca Raton Florida Weddings or Parties

            A s a mobile DJ entertainer we've had the pleasure of working at numerous venues. A great place we recently worked at is The Addison in Boca Raton Florida. I will give you a nice summary of the facility and what you can expect when you have your event there.              It's a nice facility for parties, weddings, even corporate affairs. It's right on the corner of Camino Gardens Blvd and Dixie Highway on the southeast side of Boca. As you turn into the parking lot of the Addison on the left side is numerous parking spots for your guests. So you will always be assured that there's a place to park. They also have valet parking too and parking around the . The building covers all the way around a courtyard with a large banyan tree in the center. The Sundy House Delray Beach Wedding Venue Restaurant Catering Receptions

                                       Finally another edition of our blog from a new place that we had a chance to work at. I personally have not had the pleasure of performing at the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida until this past weekend. My other DJs performed their in years past and enjoyed the great scenery. The Sundy house has some history based upon the venue and this is a great little getaway for those who want a small south Florida paradise with a taste of rivers, trees and cute gazebos.                                        I was told that originally the Sundy House in Delray Beach Florida was the home of the first Mayor of Delray Beach, Florida. This home was remodeled more recently and turned into a hotel cottage type of venue with a restaurant, bar and lounge in the separate buildings and lush green natural areas throughout the facility.
