 We wanted to revisit a really great venue that we've had the pelasure of performing at for many years and several decades. The Jupiter Civic Center is a hidden gem right on the beach located near the Jupiter Lighthouse, Carlin park and the Jupiter inlet. The building itself is literally right on the beach and overlooks the sand and Atlantic Ocean. It's great to have your ceremony on the beach or the deck area and/or cocktail hour on the deck as well. This venue can accomodate about 50 guests comfortably but could have more depending on how you setup the room. The bulding is a historic one that has been renovated over the years with extra features.  As you arrive to the facility, keep in mind this is a beach location so sometimes parking can be limited so plan accordingly so you'll have plenty of room for guests to park. There is a sidewalk that goes up an incline to the building and beach area. This can be a little tricky so for senior citizens, wheelchairs or anyone with

Among the many Marriott hotels in the Palm Beach area is the Marriott Palm Beach Singer Island hotel. It sits directly on the beach and is a beautiful venue. As you first arrive you'll be greeted by Valet to help park your car. As you enter the main doors to the hotel there's a restaurant cafe lounge area directly in front of you and to the left are restrooms and a gift shop. The pool is located directly outside and you'll love the pool and pooldeck area which is gorgeous and relaxing. Now as you go to the right youll see the banquet hall with a covered patio outside and nice hallway area. The covered patio is a great place for pre-event arrivals and cocktail hours. As you enter in the main ballroom it can be fully open into one room or split into 2 rooms. For those having weddings, you could have your ceremony outside near the pool in a wonderful location and the cocktail hour down towards the beach ina sandy tiki bar style area or choose to have it indoors too.  We had the pleasure of working at an upscale, classic country club and golf club on the west side of Palm Beach Gardens a few minutes south of Jupiter Florida. In a nice modern community with some of the nicest golfing around. Eastpointe Country & Golf Club is very nice and private clubhouse with a circular covered driveway to the main doors, valet parking, and a beautiful foyer area with couches and seating at the door. There's ample parking available for all your guests with a sidewalk that leads you to the clubhouse.  As you walk in the door the restrooms are to your right and they are very clean and fancy. There's a small meeting room to the left and then down the hall to the right is the main ballroom and to the left is a lounge and restaurant area. It has a country western style lounge & bar area.  We have a classic venue that's stood the test of time and has been a party and wedding event place for decades. The city of Jensen Beach, an extension of Stuart Florida is a beautiful town on the intracoastal waterway in the treasure coast. There's shops, restaurants, bars and lots of cottages and beach homes. Directly on the water and we mean right on the waterway with docks and boats surrounding it is the Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House. This is a seafood restaurant and event hall that has a very oldschool boating and dockside feel to it. As you turn into the parking lot, there's a long driveway with lots of self parking as well as a valet available too. As you pull around to the front of the restaurant, there's a nice circular covered driveway area that's great for dropping off guests.  We had the opportunity to perform at a new venue up in the Viera Florida area a suburb or Melbourne FL on the west side of I-95. Viera is a beautiful upscale area with gorgeous homes, restaurants, parks, shopping centers and of course the Brevard Zoo. It's a great area for families and it's very close to the beaches and Orlando. The Addison Village Club is an amazing neighborhood and community with a family clubhouse. There's a large pool in the very back of the clubhouse, a foyer with living room area as you first walk in the door, a basketball court inside, restrooms and a great party room. This party room is best for small to medium birthdays, sweet 16s, kids parties and small weddings of up to 50 people.  As you first walk through the door the party room it's a nice open and airy room that has dividers to separate into smaller rooms too. The smallest area is in the very back of the room perfect for setting up your buffett tables and a bar area for your beverages. T

 Heading out west to the most country area on the map, we had the pleasure of working at a beautiful rustic venue out in Okeechobee Florida just miles from the lake and right in the heart of downtown area but far enough away to enjoy the farmland scenery. Ever After farms has several great locations to choose from in the state of Florida. Just west of Ft. Pierce right off the main highway is Ever After Stockyard Barn. It's an elegant layout with a gorgeous vaulted very tall ceiling and windows that look out to the sky. There's chandeliers lining the ceiling as well as lighted pillars and white sashes.. As you arrive to the location you'll see a long circular dirt road with a pond and lots of parking available for your guests. As you enter through the tall barn doors you'll be greeted by wood floors and space for 200 guests plus the wedding staff.  Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just slightly north of the beautiful cities of Stuart and Jupiter Island & Tequesta is a cute venue that has a little history to it. Hobe Sound Civic Center has been located here for a number of years and serves as a banquet hall, party room, meeting hall and event venue. Located just off US Highway 1 close to Stuart Florida, Hobe Sound Civic Center is a smaller banquet hall made for parties of 20-50 people max. If you're having small to medium parties, sweet 16s, graduations or even meetings and small wedding receptions then this could be a nice option. It features wood floors a storage area, plenty of space for dance floor area, restrooms and plenty of parking. A really nice feature is a ramp that connects directly to the main door. This is perfect for wheelchairs or bringing in your party supplies. The room is a long open area and can be setup with tables on one side and a dance area with your musician or DJ on the other side.  We had the opportunity to visit a venue we have never performed at before and it was a lot of fun and gorgeous place to have your event. On the very north end of Martin County, Palm City Florida and southern most point of St Lucie is a small piece of paradise in a community that could be considered one of the five star venues of the area. Tesoro Golf and Country club is a multi-million dollar golfing and residential community with beautiful homes and a clubhouse that is top notch. The clubhouse is at the very end of the community as you go through the guard gate and drive through amazing golf courses you'll be greeted by a miniature Breakers Palm Beach style drive area that takes you to a circular drive up and drop off area with lots of parking. The drive up covered area is wonderful for those dropping off families, senior citizens or kids. As you enter the main doors, it's very rustic modern with some hints of early 1900s looks.  We had the opportunity to perform at a brand new venue in Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Avenir Clubhouse is a beautiful new building right on Northlake Blvd. in western Palm Beach Gardens in a gorgeous new community. As you make your way tothe very front of the building there's a ramp walkway for wheel chairs and vendors to bring their equipment in. There's double doors that take you into a marble vaulted foyer area with a really cool kids room on one side and pool area in the back. As you turn to the left you'll see another beautiful hallway and restrooms on the leftside as well. As you walk into the main ballroom you'll be amazed at how big, beautiful and elegant the room is. With tall vaulted ceilings, carpeted and tiled floors and chandeliers. The room is surrounded with glass doors and windows throughout the entire room. Avenir clubhouse ballroom can comfortably fit a guest size of 75-125 or more people depending on your room layout. There's no limit to how you

 This is a little different than our normal blog posts about weddings and parties. We had the opportunity to perform at a cool little venue in the Treasure Coast area of South Florida in a small city of Stuart Florida. Stuart FL is known for boating, beautiful beaches and a town that's made for relaxation. They have lots to do and enjoy but are known for fishing, blue ocean, great restaurants, and shopping. In the very center of this gorgeous area is Stuart Yacht & Country Club which is very elegant & upscale. Many of the local residents enjoy dinner dances and events at the clubhouse.  It features a remodeled beautiful building with a drive up and drop off area that is covered, an easy access ramp with wheelchair access and easy to load in and out your things. The golf course is excellent for pictures or of course playing golf in the beautiful Florida weather and lots of parking. This is a gated community and they do have some rules and a names list to get in so if you'

 The city of Stuart has several small towns within the area and it's a very relaxing laid-back area. Right on the intracoastal waterway the town of Palm City is a beautiful area, great to grow up in and enjoy life. One place in particular that is great to have a party, wedding or special event is the Palm City Community Building or center. It's on the west side of the bridge going over the waterway and into the city of Stuart.  Palm City Community Center is a cute building that has stood the test of time as it's been in this location for decades. It has now been fully remodeled and has a beautiful modern look to it on the inside. The building is a nice open room with space to hold a comfortable 50-80 people and boasts a modern light wood floor. There are windows surrounding the building and nice size restrooms.  Some other really great features are a full-size kitchen for catering or preparing food. It has a fridge and prep area with a pass-through window to the main room.

 For this edition of the blog we would like to revisit a venue we have spent many years performing at and already wrote about it about a decade ago but it's become a popular place to have weddings and you'll definitely want to look into it. As one of the few rustic outdoor farm wedding venues in the area, Southern Palm Bed & Breakfast boasts a little piece of paradise, "out in the woods," so to speak. It's a large property with a beautiful field and lots of trees with plenty of rooms for the bride & groom and/or bridal party to stay.
